PROGRAMMES OFFERING

1. PhD

PhD program provides the research fellow with advanced and specialized training in a particular area of research pertaining to Neuroscience.

2. Summer Internship

To instil scientific interest in young minds, we encourage summer internship programs for students of 1st year Masters and 1st-2nd/3rd years Bachelor’s courses to learn from our labs. The students are encouraged to learn about various experiments and technical know-how and are guided to build a scientific approach towards research.

3. Dissertation Projects

Every year, students of the Final year Master's program in lifescience from various Universities are encouraged to work in our labs as part of the fulfillment of their academic dissertation. The students are encouraged to learn various techniques implemented in research and are also given an opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with various sophisticated equipment.

4. Research Training

The Centre for Neuroscience is also on the frontline to equip students for their future PhD program via pre-doctoral training by providing an intellectually stimulating research environment. They are trained to manage and execute critical experiments on their own. These opportunities benefit them to specialize in a branch of neuroscience where the centre has its excellence.

5. Collaborative Project Training

Researchers of non-biological disciplines are encouraged to develop and work on collaborative projects with the Centre for Neuroscience. We aim to develop a multidisciplinary approach in emerging various strategies in material and instrumentation developments and obtain training in biological experiments and handling of biological materials.
